A Scorpio Lost :

I’m 5.1, 100 lbs and my bra size is 32A. Most wedding dresses are not designed for small breased women (actually many dresses are not) but I am looking for styles that would compliment my figure and not take away from it.

if you have links, or anything else, that would help

thanks

like a classic

wear a corset or a dress that isnt close fitting and wont accent your body shape too much.

I think a halter style is sexy

I always think tight fitted mermaid/fluted style wedding dresses look good on slim girls

also try this site it tells you what dresses suit your shape

It depends on if you’re proportioned. I’m 5′5″ 113lbs and am wearing a mermaid/trumpet style, size 6 in gowns, street size 2. I also have an A cup chest but somewhat of an hour glass figure still. I didn’t focus on dresses that complimented my figure, just more of what I like. I chose mermaid and found within that category the different styles that worked well and I was successful. I think no matter what we do we’ll look small chested with any cut. We can grow magically in that department for a day lol!

Check out the Galina Collection at davidsbridal.com

It’s hard cause most stylist would tell a petite person never to wear long skirts or dresses cause it makes them look smaller, but in the case of a bridal gown how would that work? Well, I would suggest making your torso somewhat look shorter to make your legs look longer. I know, it sounds confusing but not really. All you have to do is get a dress that lifts and gathers your breast and starts flowing from the bottom of your bossom down. That would give the illusion that your taller than you really are. And don’t forget to wear really tall heels, just make sure you can walk in them.

have you tried strapless? because the seamstress can probably sew padded cups or something into the bust to make you look a little bigger!

I’m almost exactly your size. My first pick was a mermaid style dress that accentuates my tiny waist, but it isn’t SO tight fitting over the hips, so as not to accentuate my lack thereof. I think strapless is definitely more flattering too, and as someone else mentioned, having cups sewn into a strapless can go a long way! I also ended up getting another dress (Maggie Sottero something or other) That was a corset style on top, but then just flowy light a-line on bottom, which, again, accentuates the waist, but disguises a lack of hips. So if you have ’shape’ in the hips area, a mermaid style would look amazing. If you wish to hide a lack of ’shape’ like me… a tight fitting corset top with a-line bottom would look perfect!
